Six models: $ 589 Core i912900K, $ 409 i712700K, $ 289 i512600K. All three are also available as KF models fewer graphics. The LG1700 socket requires new motherboards, all based on the Intel 7 process. The new Hyperthreaded Performance (P) core, which ships with Golden Cove microarchitecture designed for low-latency single-thread performance, ships with an average of 19% more IPC than Rocket Lake's Cypress Cove architecture. It also supports AVX512 and AMX (a new AI ISA-driven matrix) for data center variants (both are deactivated on consumer chips). The new Intel Singlethread Efficiency (E) core comes with Gracemont microarchitecture to improve multithreaded performance and deliver exceptional surface efficiency (small footprint) and performance per watt. (at the same power). A single E kernel also provides 40% more performance than a single-threaded Skylake kernel (at the same power) in a single-threaded job (warnings apply to both). Intel's Thread Director is a hardware-primarily based technology that ensures that threads are optimally permitted to both P or E cores. It is dormant technology that enables hybrid architecture. Alder Lake does not support AVX512 under any circumstances (secured on P-cores, not supported on E-cores) to ensure a uniform ISA four variants: S for desktop PC, P for mobile devices, M for devices with low power consumption, L Atom -Replacement, Educational (probably Chromebooks).
